BACKGROUND Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is a promising predictor of treatment response in major depressive disorder (MDD). METHODS A search for papers published in English was conducted using PubMed with the following words: depression, treatment, resting-state, connectivity, and fMRI.
