We assessed the effects of dose, regimen and duration of anti-thyroid drug therapy for Graves' thyrotoxicosis on recurrence of hyperthyroidism, course of ophthalmopathy, adverse effects, health-related quality of life and economic outcomes. We undertook a systematic review and meta-analyses of randomised controlled trials (RCTs).
