Methotrexate (MTX) is an important component of therapy used to treat childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Two single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene, C677T and A1298C, affect MTHFR activity.
