The dorsal surface structures have been examined with SEM in Dactylispa (Tr.) angulosa. Its pronotum is densely covered with pits which are irregular circles and have setaes. The setaes arise off the center of the pit floor, 60~80 μm long. There are regular spikes and pits which are in longitudinal arrangement, the pits are nearly circles and all have inner prominence.
