LHC $t\bar{t}$ data have the potential to provide constraints on the gluon distribution, especially at high $x$, with both ATLAS and CMS performing differential measurements. Recently, CMS has measured double-differential $t\bar{t}$ distributions at 8 TeV. In this paper, we examine the impact of this data set on the gluon distribution, using the recently calculated double-differential NNLO predictions for that data. No significant impact is found when the CMS data is added to the CT14HERA2…

The impact of ATLAS and CMS single differential top-quark pair measurements at TeV on CTEQ-TEA PDFs *

By applying the Error PDF Updating Method, we analyze the impact of the absolute and normalized single differential cross-sections of top-quark pair production data from the ATLAS and CMS detector at

The Impact of Single Top Data on CT14nnlo PDFs

In this paper we study the impact of ATLAS 8 TeV t-channel single top quark production data on CT14nnlo PDFs. First, we calculate the total cross section, cross section ratio, differential cross

Measurement of the top quark Yukawa coupling from t¯t kinematic distributions in the lepton+jets final state in proton-proton collisions at √s=13 TeV

Results are presented for an extraction of the top quark Yukawa coupling from top quark-antiquark (t (t) over bar) kinematic distributions in the lepton plus jets final state in proton-proton

Measurement of the top quark Yukawa coupling from tt¯ kinematic distributions in the dilepton final state in proton-proton collisions at s=13  TeV

A measurement of the Higgs boson Yukawa coupling to the top quark is presented using proton-proton collision data at √ s = 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb−1, recorded with

NNLO QCD corrections to leptonic observables in top-quark pair production and decay

We calculate a comprehensive set of spin correlations and differential distributions in top-quark pair production and decay to dilepton final states. Our calculation is performed in the Narrow Width
