UNLABELLED Using the rat chronic constriction injury (CCI) pain model, we evaluated whether nitrous oxide (N2O), a gas shown to have potent anti-hyperalgesic properties, may alleviate neuropathic pain. Mechanical nociceptive threshold was estimated using the paw pressure vocalization test.
