This paper proposed a novel control strategy based on a virtual resistance and a phase locked loop for parallel three-phase inverters. The proposed controller can overcome the drawbacks of the conventional droop control such as slow transient response, complex design, and limited stability margins. The load sharing capability can be also obtained under asymmetrical output impedances in which the conventional droop controller was not properly working.
