Phamacokinetics is proposed to study the absorption, the distribution, the biotransformations and the elimination of drugs in man and animals. A single kinetic profile may be well summarized by Cmax, Tmax, t 1/2 and AUC and, having more than one profile, 8 parameters at least, the mean and standard deviation of these parameters, may well summarize the drug kinetics in the whole population. A more carefull description of the data can be obtained interpolating and extrapolating the drug…

How to design intravenous anesthetic dose regimens based on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics principles
The ways in which anesthesiologists can design a patient-specific dosage regimen of intravenous anesthetics by utilizing basic concepts of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics using pharmacokinetic simulations are discussed.

The developed models show how concentration can be used to characterise and predict distributional kinetics and offer new insights into PK-PD(Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic) modelling.
Disposition of Cefquinome in Turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) Following Intravenous and Intramuscular Administration
CFQ has a favorable disposition in turkeys that can guide to estimate optimum dosage regimes and eventually lead to its usage to eradicate turkey’s susceptible bacterial infections.
It is specified that capsules were providing time controlled delivery of drug at a desired rate for prolonged time, which may be helpful for the prevention of episodic attack of asthma in early morning hours.
Chronopharmacology in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring—Dependencies between the Rhythmics of Pharmacokinetic Processes and Drug Concentration in Blood
This paper is a brief overview of chronopharmacology, especiallychronopharmacokinetics, and its connection with the clinical interpretation of the meaning of the drug concentrations determined in the TDM procedure.

Pharmacokinetic profile of the selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist ondansetron in the rat: an original study and a mini-review of the behavioural pharmacological literature in the rat.
The PK profile of ondansetron in the plasma and associated brain levels in rat is determined using high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry to help the design of pre-clinical studies with therapeutic end-points.
Biochemical Mathematical Modeling with Modelica and the BioChem Library
The Bio-Chem library presented here is the first free Modelica library available for mathematical modeling of biochemical processes and provides graphics similar to that used in the description of metabolic pathways in biochemistry.

This study indicated that Cefquinome sulphate has favorable pharmacokinetics following both administrations in healthy layer birds which can help to form optimum dosage regimes thus ultimately leading to its use for eradication of various systemic and local infections.
PBPK Modeling on Organs-on-Chips: An Overview of Recent Advancements
This article provides the recent development of organ-on-a-chip technology and PBPK modeling including model construction, parameter estimation and validation strategies, and considerable progress has been made.

Bioavailability of drugs with long elimination half-lives
The regression method is less precise than the AUC ratio method but is more accurate for drugs with long absorption half-lives, and it is not possible to estimate the clearance of amiodarone from single dose data.
