Within the tribe Coelidiini, subfamily Coelidiinae (Cicadellidae: Hemiptera), fragmentation of the genera Calodia Nielson, Olidiana McKamey and Taharana Nielson established the following 13 new genera: Cladolidia, type-species, Lodiana cladopenis Zhang; Creberulidia, type-species, Calodia paucita Nielson; Glaberana, type-species, Glaberana spadix, sp. nov.; Hamusolidia, type-species, Hamusolidia introrsa, sp. nov.; Hiatusorus, typespecies, Taharana schonhorsti Nielson; Laosolidia, type-species…

New species of the genera Limentinus Distant, 1917 and Calodia Nielson, 1982 (Hemiptera, Auchenorrhyncha, Cicadellidae, Coelidiinae) from the Makay Massif of Madagascar, with a key to Malagasy species

ABSTRACT Three new species of the genus Limentinus Distant, 1917 and one new species of the genus Calodia Nielson, 1982 are described from the former Toliara Province of southwestern Madagascar:

New record of the genus Baseprocessa (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Coelidiinae) from India with description of a new species.

The coelidiinae leafhopper genus Baseprocessa Fan Li is newly recorded from India based on the description of B. patkaensis Meshram sp. nov. and a proposed new combination, B. serratispatulata

Complete mitogenome of Olidiana ritcheriina (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) and phylogeny of Cicadellidae

The phylogenetic relationships indicated that the molecular taxonomy of O. ritcheriina is consistent with the current morphological classification, and this is the first complete mitogenome assembly of the genus Olidiana.

Structural features of the mitogenome of the leafhopper genus Cladolidia (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Coelidiinae) and phylogenetic implications in Cicadellidae

On the basis of complete mitogenome phylogenetic analysis and the comparison of morphological characteristics, this work further confirm the genus Olidiana as a paraphyletic group, suggesting that the genus may need taxonomic revisions.

Mitogenomics of five Olidiana leafhoppers (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Coelidiinae) and their phylogenetic implications

The phylogenetic tree of Cicadellidae is constructed using the maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian inference (BI) methods based on all valid mitogenome sequences and Interestingly, Olidiana was inferred as a paraphyletic group with strong support via both ML and BI analyses.

Two new species of the leafhopper genus Calodia Nielson (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Coelidiinae) from China, with a checklist and key to Chinese species

Two new species of the leafhopper genus Calodia Nielson are described and illustrated and a checklist along with distribution and a key to species based on male genitalia of the genusCalodia from China are provided.
