The Otostigmus subgenus Otostigmus, which currently comprises 58 species, was subdivided by Lewis (2010a) into nine species groups based on Attems' (1930a) monograph. The orientalis group comprising 19 species and two subspecies is the subject of this paper. In most cases, the type material is redescribed and variation discussed. The following species are valid: O. ateles Chamberlin, 1920, O. australianus Attems, 1930, O. brevidentatus Verhoeff, 1937, O. foveolatus Verhoeff, 1937, O… Expand
Systematic revision and phylogenetic reassessment of the centipede genera Rhysida Wood, 1862 and Alluropus Silvestri, 1912 (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha) in Southeast Asia, with further discussion of the subfamily Otostigminae
TLDR
Morphological revision and molecular phylogenetics using three loci validate seven Rhysida species in SE Asia and Australia and redescribes the monotypic genus Alluropus, which is redescribed, recovering it nesting together with Indo-AustralianRhysida. Expand

Revision of the scolopendrid centipede Digitipes Attems, 1930, from India (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha): reconciling molecular and morphological estimates of species diversity.
TLDR
Digitipes is the correct generic attribution for a monophyletic group of Indian species, these being united with three species from tropical Africa that share a distomedial process on the ultimate leg femur of males that is otherwise unknown in Otostigminae. Expand
