A review of the Oriental genus Cochinchinula Volk. (Coleoptera, Buprestidae, Polycestinae, Acmaeoderini) comprising three species is presented. The new species C. thailandica and C. bilyi spp. n. and the new genus Thaichinula gen. n. (type species T. ohmomoi sp. n.) from Thailand are described. A key to species of the genera Cochinchinula and Thaichinula is provided. The Nearctic genus Paracmaeoderoides Bellamy and Westcott is transferred from the subtribe Nothomorphina to the subtribe…
A Revision of the buprestid subtribe Xenopsina subtr. n. with description of new species from the genera Xenopsis Saund. and Sommaia Toyama (Coleoptera, Buprestidae, Polycestinae) and notes on its systematic position
A new subtribe, Xenopsina subtr. n., comprising the Oriental genera Xenopsis Saunders, 1867, Sommaia Toyama, 1985, Kurosawaxia Descarpentries, 1986 (all genera transferred from Polyctesini), and
Large‐scale molecular phylogeny of metallic wood‐boring beetles (Coleoptera: Buprestoidea) provides new insights into relationships and reveals multiple evolutionary origins of the larval leaf‐mining habit
TLDR
The first large‐scale molecular phylogenetic study of the superfamily Buprestoidea based on data from four genes for 141 ingroup species suggests that the leaf‐mining agriline tribe Tracheini is polyphyletic, as are several of its constituent subtribes.

A new genus and species, Richtersveldia insperata Bellamy, is described from the Northern Cape Province, South Africa and is illustrated with one color plate showing different aspects of habitus and close-ups of head, antenna and aedeagus.
Phylogenetic relationships and tribal placement of Odettea Baudon (Coleoptera: Buprestidae)
TLDR
It is proposed that Odettea be transfer from the subtribe Nothomorphina Cobos to Polycestina Lacordaire and Agaeocerina Nelson be transferred from Thrincopygini LeConte to Buprestini and Polycestinas from B uprestini toPolycestini Lacordaires.
The clavus and jugum venation in the wings of beetles (Coleoptera) and its genesis
TLDR
The homology and nomenclature, as well as hypothesized pathways of the historical development of the clavus and jugal lobe of the beetle hind wings are discussed, which are largely similar to the venation patterns observed in some representatives of Corydalidae (Megaloptera).
