Executive summary This report reviews the literature relevant to the provisions of the Children's Television Standards (CTS) which govern television advertising to children. The report is drawn from more than 200 sources on children and television advertising, including 100 refereed primary sources and was prepared as input to a review of the CTS by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).
