In this paper, we show how the notion of "co-description" in LFG used for specifying a translation correspondence in a declarative way [Kaplan et al. 89] can be reformulated in a relational framework gaining modularity and reversibility of grammars. We illustrate this approach with a transfer example taken from [Kaplan et al. 89] using a logic formalism which has feature terms as basic data structures.
