A new cell line, designated UHKBR-01, was successfully established from a 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)-induced rat mammary tumour. DMBA was administered orally at a dose of 4 mg/ml per rat on the first day of the experiment and thereafter at weekly intervals of same dosage, until the rats have reached a weight of around 150-200 g.
