AIMS To develop a modified pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) method for characterizing Haemophilus parasuis isolates. METHODS AND RESULTS A modified PFGE procedure was designed using CpoI to generate restriction maps of H. parasuis genomic DNA.
