The density of ballooned neurons (BN), tau-positive neurons with inclusion bodies (tau+ neurons), and tau-positive plaques (tau+ plaques) was determined in sections of the frontal, parietal, and temporal lobe in 12 patients with corticobasal degeneration (CBD).
