A protective role of 13-cis retinoic acid in thymic lymphoma induction.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the incidence of X-ray induced lymphomas in C57B1/10W mice kept on diet with varying retinoid content. The mice whose diet was supplemented with 13-cis retinoic acid (300 mg per kg of chow) developed less lymphomas than those kept on Vitamin A deficient diet as well as on a standard diet (15 mg per kg of chow).
