A pedigree-based study of mitochondrial D-loop DNA sequence variation among Arabian horses.

Abstract

Through DNA sequence comparisons of a mitochondrial D-loop hypervariable region, we investigated matrilineal diversity for Arabian horses in the United States. Sixty-two horses were tested.
