A numerical method for selecting low toxicity plasticizers for glycol methacrylate (GMA) embedding mixtures is described. It involves use of various numerical parameters, namely; molecular weight, melting point, solubility parameter, and toxicity data. On the basis of these parameters, nine plasticizers were selected.
