A novel phosphoglucomutase-related protein is concentrated in adherens junctions of muscle and nonmuscle cells.


Using five monoclonal antibodies raised against a human uterine smooth muscle extract, we have identified a novel antigen which runs as a closely spaced doublet in SDS-gels.
