A novel porous nano hydroxyapatite (HA) coating has been prepared on commercially pure titanium substrate by a modified electrochemical deposition method. The physico-chemical and biological properties of the coating were characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR, Raman, and in vitro cell culture test respectively. The SEM patterns show a uniform microporous morphology consisting of wirelike crystals at nanometer scale.
