In this study, a novel catalyst based on Fe@Au bimetallic nanoparticles involved graphene oxide was prepared and characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The nanomaterial was used in catalytic reductions of 4-nitrophenol and 2-nitrophenol in the presence of sodium borohydride.
