This paper describes the design of a mechanical two-axis tracking solar PV system using light dependent resistors (LDR’s) and a microcontroller. The magnifying two-axis tracking sheet is used to capture the sun’s energy. The two-axis tracking is focused to get extremely high temperature. This novel design of twoaxes tracking system is controlled with two 12V, 6W DC motors, hydraulic system and a driver circuit. Time delays are employed for servo motor.
