# A note on the construction of Numerov method through a quadratic continuous polynomial for the solution of general second order differential equation

This note presents a construction of Numerov method from a quadratic continuous polynomial solution (degree two continuous polynomial solutions). In contrast with [1, 3, 5] that was hitherto obtained from a degree four polynomial, the discrete Numerov method as a special case. This process lead to the block method applied to both initial and boundary value problem for the more general second order y n = f (x, y, y\'), . JONAMP Vol. 11 2007: pp. 253-260
