Four out of twenty (20%) specimens of the lizard Scincus hemprichii Wiegmann, collected in Saudi Arabia were infected with a previously undescribed species of Choleoeimeria. Oocysts of Choleoeimeria jazanensis sp. n. are cylindroidal, 26 x 15 microm, with a smooth bilayered wall and a shape index of 1.7. Oocyst residuum and micropyle are absent. Sporocysts are subspherical, 10 x 7 microm, with a shape index of 1.3. The Stieda body is absent. Sporozoites are banana-shaped, 10 x 3 microm, with…

Four new species of coccidia (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from Owen Stanley Skinks, Papuascincus stanleyanus (Sauria: Scincidae), from Papua New Guinea.
To the knowledge, these represent the only coccidians ever described from P. stanleyanus and are described here as new.
Three New Species of Coccidia (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from Skinks, Lipinia spp. (Sauria: Scincidae), from Oceania
Abstract:  Between September 1991 and March 1993, 25 moth skinks (Lipinia noctua) were collected from various localities on the Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea (PNG), and Vanuatu and examined
Phylogeny of the reptilian Eimeria: are Choleoeimeria and Acroeimeria valid generic names?
The phylogenetic analyses confirmed the independent evolutionary origin of the Eimeria‐like species infecting lizards and supported the taxonomic validity of the genera Acroeimeria and Choleoeimeria.
Biodiversity and Distribution of Lizards in Jazan area, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The widespread of species belonging to the family Gekkonidae may be attributed to the ability of these species to withstand various climatic conditions and to live in different habitats using the available facilities to survive and broadly distribute.

New species of Choleoeimeria (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from the veiled chameleon, Chamaeleo calyptratus (Sauria: Chamaeleonidae), with taxonomic revision of eimerian coccidia from chameleons.
Coprological examination of 71 samples from a breeding colony of veiled chameleons revealed a presence of two species of coccidia, including a new coccidian species, Choleoeimeria hirbayah sp.
A new species of Choleoeimeria (apicomplexa: eimeriidae) from oustalet's chameleon, Furcifer oustaleti (Sauria: Chamaeleonidae).
One of three captive specimens of Oustalet's chameleon, Furcifer oustaleti (Mocquard) originally from Madagascar and housed at the Oklahoma City Zoological Park Herpetarium, was found to be passing an undescribed species of Choleoeimeria in its faeces, representing the second coccidian described from this lizard.
Choleoeimeria riyadhae sp.n. (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from the lizard, Scincus scincus (Sauria: Scincidae) in Saudi Arabia.
Choleoeimeria riyadhae species new was described from the gall bladder of the lizard, Scincus scincus (Sauria: Scincidae) collected from east of Riyadh City, Central Region. Sporulated oocysts are
Five new species of Eimeria (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from lizards
Five new species of Eimeria are described from lizards, one of which was recovered from the giant day gecko, Phelsuma madagascariensis grandis, from Madagascar, which harboured a simultaneous infection of E. brygooi.
Two new species of coccidia (A picomplexa: Eimeriidae) from Eumeces fasciatus (Sauria: Scincidae) in Arkansas
Two new species of coccidia were recovered from the intestinal contents of Eumeces fasciatus from Arkansas and are described and found to infect the biliary epithelium.
Eimeria hemprichii n. sp. (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from the lizard, Scincus hemprichii (Sauria: Scincidae) in Saudi Arabia.
Eimeria hemprichii n. sp. was described from the gall bladder of the lizard, Scincus hemprichii captured at Gazan Province, western region, Saudi Arabia. Sporulated oocysts are ellipsoidal, 34.6x21.4

Five parasites are described in the lizard Amphisbaena alba (Amphisbaenidae) from the state of Par, North Brazil, and the presence of an unidentified parasite producing multinucleate cyst-like stages is revealed.
Endogenous stages of Choleoeimeria baltrocki (Daszak et Ball, 1991) n. comb. infecting the gall bladder of gold skink, Eumeces schneiderii Daudin, 1802 from Egypt
Based on the morphological features of the exogenous stages and endogenous development of the present parasite, its generic affiliation was revised and placed into the genus Choleoeimeria.
Two new species of Eimeria Schneider, 1875 (Apicomplexa: Eimeriidae) from skinks in Florida
