We present a way to construct a pilot‐wave model for quantum field theory. The idea is to introduce beables corresponding only to the bosonic degrees of freedom and not to the fermionic degrees of freedom of the quantum state. We provide an illustration and a justification of this idea in the context of quantum electrodynamics. The beables are fields and correspond to the degrees of freedom of the electromagnetic field. The field beables are introduced in a similar way to that of Bohm’s model…

A Dirac sea pilot-wave model for quantum field theory
We present a pilot-wave model for quantum field theory in which the Dirac sea is taken seriously. The model ascribes particle trajectories to all the fermions, including the fermions filling the
A Persistent Particle Ontology for Quantum Field Theory in Terms of the Dirac Sea
We show that the Bohmian approach in terms of persisting particles that move on continuous trajectories following a deterministic law can be literally applied to quantum field theory. By means of the
Quantum Computing in the de Broglie-Bohm Pilot-Wave Picture
Much attention has been drawn to quantum computing and the exponential speed-up in computation the technology would be able to provide. Various claims have been made about what aspect of quantum
HIGHER-DIMENSIONAL GEOMETRIC DESCRIPTION OF THE QUANTUM KLEIN–GORDON EQUATION
It is shown that the equations of relativistic Bohmian mechanics for multiple bosonic particles have a dual description in terms of a classical theory of conformally "curved" space-time. This shows
A persistent particle ontology for QFT in terms of the Dirac sea
We show that the Bohmian approach in terms of persisting particles that move on continuous trajectories following a deterministic law can be literally applied to QFT. By means of the Dirac sea model

Generalization of the Born rule
A new formulation of quantum mechanics is proposed based on a new principle that can be considered a generalization of the Born rule. The principle is composed of a mathematical expression and an
On the Plurality of Quantum Theories: Quantum Theory as a Framework, and its Implications for the Quantum Measurement Problem
TLDR
Only the Everett interpretation is currently suited to make sense of quantum physics as the authors find it.
Interpreting the quantum mechanics of cosmology
Quantum theory plays an increasingly significant role in contemporary early-universe cosmology, most notably in the inflationary origins of the fluctuation spectrum of the microwave background

The de Broglie-Bohm pilot-wave interpretation of quantum theory
In this thesis we study the de Broglie-Bohm pilot-wave interpretation of quantum theory. We consider the domain of non-relativistic quantum theory, relativistic quantum theory and quantum field

Information and Entropy in Quantum Theory
TLDR
It is shown that, if the concept of 'active information' in the Bohm interpretation is extended to cover thermal density matrices, then many of the conceptual problems raised by Szilard's paradox appear to be resolved.
