Aerosols of nedocromil sodium labelled with 99Tcm were delivered on 20 separate occasions to healthy male volunteers. Planar and single photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) gamma scintigraphy were immediately performed to assess the pulmonary regional distribution of delivered aerosol.
