We study a holographic dark energy model in the framework of Brans-Dicke (BD) theory with taking into account the interaction between dark matter and holographic dark energy. We use the recent observational data sets, namely SN Ia compressed Joint Light-Analysis (cJLA) compilation, Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) from BOSS DR12 and the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) of Planck 2015. After calculating the evolution of the equation of state as well as the deceleration parameters, we find…

New Holographic Dark Energy Model in Brans-Dicke Theory

It is found that a stage in which the cosmic expansion is accelerating can be realized in both cases and it is shown that the quintessence region of the universe can exist.

Anisotropic new holographic dark energy model in Saez–Ballester theory of gravitation

This work is devoted to the investigation of new holographic dark energy (infrared cutoff is the Hubble radius) in locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-I$I$ universe within the framework of

Model for Modified Holographic Ricci Dark Energy in Gravitation Theory of Branc Dicke

In this cosmological model, we have studied the spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type and axially symmetric model filled with dark matter and dark energy in Brans-Dicke’s [1] theory of

FRW type Kaluza–Klein modified holographic Ricci dark energy models in Brans–Dicke theory of gravitation

In this paper, we investigate non-Ricci, non-compact Friedmann–Robertson–Walker type Kaluza–Klein cosmology in the presence of pressureless matter and modified holographic Ricci dark energy in the

An interacting new holographic dark energy in the framework of fractal cosmology

In this paper, we study an interacting holographic dark energy model in the framework of fractal cosmology. The features of fractal cosmology could pass ultraviolet divergencies and also make a

Holographic dark energy models in LTB inhomogeneous universe

The holographic principle is investigated for the generalized Lemaitre–Tolman–Bondi (LTB) model of an inhomogeneous and an isotropic dark energy. The inhomogeneity is considered as spherically

Observational constraint on interacting Tsallis holographic dark energy in logarithmic Brans–Dicke theory

In this paper, we investigate the dark energy phenomenon by studying the Tsallis holographic dark energy within the framework of Brans–Dicke (BD) scalar–tensor theory of gravity (Brans and Dicke in

Kaluza–Klein minimally interacting dark energy model in the presence of massive scalar field

In this paper, our purpose is to discuss the dynamical aspects of Kaluza–Klein five-dimensional cosmological model filled with minimally interacting baryonic matter and dark energy (DE) in the pres...

Probing interaction and spatial curvature in the holographic dark energy model

In this paper we place observational constraints on the interaction and spatial curvature in the holographic dark energy model. We consider three kinds of phenomenological interactions between

Dark energy cosmology: the equivalent description via different theoretical models and cosmography tests

We review different dark energy cosmologies. In particular, we present the ΛCDM cosmology, Little Rip and Pseudo-Rip universes, the phantom and quintessence cosmologies with Type I, II, III and IV

New agegraphic dark energy model in Brans-Dicke theory with logarithmic form of scalar field

In this paper, the cosmological evolution of new agegraphic dark energy (NADE) model is analyzed in Brans-Dicke theory within the framework of Friedmann-Robertson-Walker Universe. The power-law

Constraints on the Holographic Dark Energy Model from Type Ia Supernovae, WMAP7, Baryon Acoustic Oscillation and Redshift-Space Distortion

In this paper, we use the joint measurement of geometry and growth rate from matter density perturbations to constrain the holographic dark energy model. The geometry measurement includes type Ia

Planck constraints on holographic dark energy

We perform a detailed investigation on the cosmological constraints on the holographic dark energy (HDE) model by using the Planck data. We find that HDE can provide a good fit to the Planck high-l

The holographic dark energy in a non-flat universe

We study the model for holographic dark energy in a spatially closed universe, generalizing the proposal in hep-th/0403127 for a flat universe. We provide independent arguments for the choice of the
