These are notes on the square root of $4\times4$ identity matrix and associated quantum fields of spin one half. The method is illustrated by constructing a new mass dimension one fermionic field. The presented field is local. The field energy is bounded from below. It is argued that these fermions are a first-principle candidate for dark matter with an unsuppressed quartic self interaction.

### From dipole spinors to a new class of mass dimension one fermions

In this letter, we investigate a quite recent new class of spin one-half fermions, namely \emph{Ahluwalia class-7 spinors}, endowed with mass dimensionality $1$ rather than $3/2$, being candidates to

In this paper, we define a new spinor classification that encompasses the recently proposed spin-half bosons with mass dimension three-half (Ahluwalia D. V., EPL, 131 (2020) 41001). As will be shown,

### The structure of the spin-half bosonic classification — Towards phases and classes

One of the most important building blocks in modern physics stands for the spinor fields. We highlight that historically the pioneer case was the Dirac spinor field. And later it has been recognized
