These are notes on the square root of $4\times4$ identity matrix and associated quantum fields of spin one half. The method is illustrated by constructing a new mass dimension one fermionic field. The presented field is local. The field energy is bounded from below. It is argued that these fermions are a first-principle candidate for dark matter with an unsuppressed quartic self interaction.

From dipole spinors to a new class of mass dimension one fermions

In this letter, we investigate a quite recent new class of spin one-half fermions, namely \emph{Ahluwalia class-7 spinors}, endowed with mass dimensionality $1$ rather than $3/2$, being candidates to

Spin-half bosonic classification

In this paper, we define a new spinor classification that encompasses the recently proposed spin-half bosons with mass dimension three-half (Ahluwalia D. V., EPL, 131 (2020) 41001). As will be shown,

The structure of the spin-half bosonic classification — Towards phases and classes

One of the most important building blocks in modern physics stands for the spinor fields. We highlight that historically the pioneer case was the Dirac spinor field. And later it has been recognized

Exploiting new classes of mass-dimension one fermions

In this paper, we employ the machinery first shown in Ahluwalia (Ahluwalia 2020. Phys. Eng. Sci. 476, 20200249. (doi:10.1098/rspa.2020.0249) and EPL 131, 41001. (doi:10.1209/0295-5075/131/41001)), to

Singular spinors and their connection

In this paper, we analyze some properties concerning singular spinors and how they are connected. We advance in a method which points towards define an association among the adjoint structure and

Propagators Beyond The Standard Model

Abstract. In this paper, we explore one of the most important sorts of mathematical tools within quantum field theory framework: the quantum field propagator. To do so, we build such a quantity in

D ec 2 02 1 Revisiting the spin-half bosons with mass dimension three-half

This work is dedicated to deeply understanding a quite recent theoretical discovery about new particles that reside in the ( 1 2 , 0)⊕ (0, 1 2 ) representation space, namely, spin-half bosons,

Spin-half fermions with mass dimension one: theory, phenomenology, and dark matter
