A new analysis of galaxy 2-point functions in the BOSS survey, including full-shape information and post-reconstruction BAO

author={Shi-Fan Chen and Zvonimir Vlah and Martin White},
We present a new method for consistent, joint analysis of the preand post-reconstruction galaxy two-point functions of the BOSS survey. The post-reconstruction correlation function is used to accurately measure the distance-redshift relation and expansion history, while the prereconstruction power spectrum multipoles constrain the broad-band shape and the rate-of-growth of large-scale structure. Our technique uses Lagrangian perturbation theory to self-consistently work at the level of two…

We re-analyze the full shape of BOSS galaxy two-point function from the Effective-Field Theory of Large-Scale Structure at the one loop within ΛCDM with massive neutrinos using a big bang
Cosmological constraints from the tomographic cross-correlation of DESI Luminous Red Galaxies and Planck CMB lensing
We use luminous red galaxies selected from the imaging surveys that are being used for targeting by the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) in combination with CMB lensing maps from the

Cosmological perturbations for two cold fluids in ΛCDM
The cosmic large-scale structure of our Universe is comprised of baryons and cold dark matter (CDM). Yet it is customary to treat these two components as a combined single-matter fluid with vanishing
Biased tracers of two fluids in the Lagrangian picture
We explore Lagrangian perturbation theory (LPT) for biased tracers in the presence of two fluids, focusing on the case of cold dark matter (CDM) and baryons. The presence of two fluids induces
Cosmological parameters from the BOSS galaxy power spectrum
We present cosmological parameter measurements from the publicly available Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) data on anisotropic galaxy clustering in Fourier space. Compared to previous

Tidal alignments as a contaminant of redshift space distortions
We investigate the effect of orientation-dependent selection effects on galaxy clustering in redshift space. It is found that if galaxies are aligned by large-scale tidal fields, then these selection
Detection of anisotropic galaxy assembly bias in BOSS DR12
We present evidence of anisotropic galaxy assembly bias in the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey Data Release 12 galaxy sample at a level exceeding $5\sigma$. We use measurements of the
Resumming Cosmological Perturbations via the Lagrangian Picture: One-loop Results in Real Space and in Redshift Space
We develop a new approach to study the nonlinear evolution in the large-scale structure of the Universe both in real space and in redshift space, extending the standard perturbation theory of
Modeling features in the redshift-space halo power spectrum with perturbation theory
We study the ability of perturbative models with effective field theory contributions and infra-red resummation to model the redshift space clustering of biased tracers in models where the linear
Consistent modeling of velocity statistics and redshift-space distortions in one-loop perturbation theory
The peculiar velocities of biased tracers of the cosmic density field contain important information about the growth of large scale structure and generate anisotropy in the observed clustering of
Redshift-space distortions in Lagrangian perturbation theory
We present the one-loop 2-point function of biased tracers in redshift space computed with Lagrangian perturbation theory, including a full resummation of both long-wavelength (infrared)
