The Medical Center model of practice guideline adaptation and implementation uses local clinical leaders to evaluate nationally endorsed guidelines, adapt those guidelines for use in the local setting, work with support staff to develop and apply methods for guideline implementation, and assist the evaluation of clinical practice and outcomes data.
