The laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (LAGB) is widely used for treatment of morbid obesity. Band slippage is a well known long-term complication. Herein, we present a patient with band slippage who developed strangulation of the fundus with irreversible necrosis. The chosen surgical solution was minimally invasive.
