Number of studies assessed the association between Cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) -1722T/C polymorphisms and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) was increasing. However, these studies have provided conflicting results. In this study, meta-analysis was performed to invest the correlation between CTLA-4 -1722T/C polymorphisms and SLE susceptibility.
