A 60-GHz low power fully integrated transceiver including antennas, fabricated in CMOS 65nm SOI and packaged in low cost QFN is described. The circuit achieves 2 Gbps and 500 Mbps rates at 7.5 cm and 22.5 cm transmission ranges respectively.
