OBJECTIVE To establish a murine xenograft model of human ovarian carcinoma. METHODS A slurry of fresh human tumor from patients with intraperitoneal malignancies was heterotransplanted intraperitoneally into nude (nu/nu) and severely combined immunodeficient mice (CB-17, SCID).
