Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a common malignancy in southern China and Southeast Asia. Nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB)-activation plays critical roles in Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) mediated tumorigenesis in NPC.
