We calculate the cross section of diffractive dijet photoproduction in ep scattering at next-to-leading order (NLO) of perturbative QCD (pQCD), which we supplement by a model of factorization breaking for the resolved-photon contribution. In this model, the suppression depends on the flavor and momentum fraction of the partons in the photon. We show that within experimental and theoretical uncertainties, the resulting approach provides a good description of the available HERA data in most of…

Diffractive dijet photoproduction at the EIC

We present a first, detailed study of diffractive dijet photoproduction at the recently approved electron-ion collider (EIC) at BNL. Apart from establishing the kinematic reaches for various beam

How large is the diffractive contribution to inclusive dijet photoproduction in ultraperipheral collisions at the LHC?

Using next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative QCD, we calculate the diffractive contribution to inclusive dijet photoproduction in Pb-Pb ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) at the LHC and find that it

Photon and Pomeron-induced Production of Dijets in pp, pA and AA Collisions

In this paper we present a detailed comparison of the dijet production by photon–photon, photon–pomeron and pomeron–pomeron interactions in pp, pA and $$\mathrm{AA}$$AA collisions at the LHC energy.

Multigluon Correlations and Evidence of Saturation from Dijet Measurements at an Electron-Ion Collider.

This work studies inclusive and diffractive dijet production in electron-proton and electron-nucleus collisions within the color glass condensate effective field theory and predicts significant target-dependent deviations from the correlation limit approximation for |P|>|Δ| and |P |≲Q_{s}.

Prospects for diffractive dijet photoproduction at the EIC

We discuss the prospects of diffractive dijet photoproduction at the EIC to distinguish different fits of diffractive proton PDFs, different schemes of factorization breaking, to determine

Towards a complete next-to-logarithmic description of forward exclusive diffractive dijet electroproduction at HERA: Real corrections

We studied the $ep\rightarrow ep+2jets$ diffractive cross section with ZEUS phase space. Neglecting the $t$-channel momentum in the Born and gluon dipole impact factors, we calculated the

Review of factorization breaking in diffractive photoproduction of dijets

After the final analyses of the H1 and ZEUS collaborations for the diffractive photoproduction of dijets have appeared, we have recalculated these cross sections in next-to-leading order (NLO) of

Evidence for factorization breaking in diffractive low-Q2 dijet production.

The results confirm theoretical expectations for the (non)cancellation of soft singularities in diffractive scattering as well as previous results for (almost) real photoproduction.

Factorization breaking in diffractive dijet photoproduction

Abstract. We have calculated the diffractive dijet cross section in low-Q2ep scattering in the HERA regime. The results of the calculation in LO and NLO are compared to recent experimental data of the

Dijet photoproduction of massless charm jets at next-to-leading order of QCD

We compute the charm dijet photoproduction cross section at next-to-leading order of QCD in the zero-mass variable flavour number scheme, i.e. with active charm quarks in the proton and photon. The
