Within a functional EMC simulation for automotive component tests, the cable harness shows significant influence to the radiated emissions. Detailed harness models can be generated with the help of a full wave simulation within the frequency range. However, the calculation process is a very time intensive task, especially if the complete setup in respect to CISPR25 for radiated emissions is considered.
