FexOy/Fe decorated graphite sheets (DGS) are synthesized using a facile coprecipitation method followed by heat treatment under different conditions. The size and chemical composition of the particles loaded on graphite sheets can be tailored by adjusting the heat treatment temperature and atmosphere.
