The NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (NDH) complex in chloroplasts mediates photosystem I cyclic and chlororespiratory electron transport. Eleven chloroplast genes and three nuclear genes have been identified as encoding Ndh subunits, but the entire subunit composition is still unknown.
