A cytokeratin immunohistochemical study was performed on 38 liver biopsies from cases of primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, extrahepatic biliary obstruction or drug-induced liver disease in order to analyse the cytoskeletal changes in detail.
