A nitric oxide (NO) microbiosensor based on cytochrome c (cyt c), a heme protein, immobilized onto a functionalized-conducting polymer (poly-TTCA) layer has been fabricated for the in vivo measurement of NO release stimulated by an abuse drug cocaine.
