A compiler for a functional quantum programming language

We introduce a compiler for the functional quantum programming language QML [1], developed in Haskell. The compiler takes QML expressions as input and outputs a representation of quantum circuits (via the category FQC of finite quantum computations) which can be simulated by the simulator presented here, or by using a standard simulator for quantum gates. We discuss the structure of the compiler and how the semantic rules are compiled.
