The topographical distribution of cholinergic cell bodies has been studied in the rat brain and spinal cord by choline acetyltransferase (ChAT)-immunohistochemistry and acetylcholinesterase (AChE)-pharmacohistochemistry using diisopropylfluorophosphate (DFP).
