Aims/hypothesis. To examine the functional, metabolic and structural abnormalities in peripheral nerve in the spontaneously Type II (non-insulin-dependent) diabetic BBZDR/Wor rat and compare these data with those in the Type I (insulin-dependent) diabetic BB/Wor rat.¶Methods.
