The goal of this study was to measure radiation doses for 64-slice cardiac CT angiography studies and to study the dose-savings features of these CT scanners. This was done using various phantoms. These radiation doses were compared with those from typical helical body CT scans, fluoroscopy cardiac catheterization studies and mammography examinations.
