In the existing literature on CGE modelling there is still much discussion about a de¿nition and classi¿cation of CGE models. Different names like Transaction Value models, Computable General Equilibrium models, Applied General Equilibrium models and SAM-based general equilibrium models have been used, without giving a proper classi ¿cation of models.
