A sensitive method for the analysis of bisphenol A and 4-nonylphenol is developed by means of the optimization of solid-phase microextraction using Uniform Experimental Design methodology followed by high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis with fluorescence detection. The optimal extraction conditions are determined based on the relationship between parameters and the peak area.
