A chemical etching system for creating micromechanical retention in resin-bonded retainers.

Abstract

A method of chemically etching selected nonnoble alloys has been developed. This report provided data supporting that an effective attachment is created between resin and etched metal. This system reduces the disadvantages in creating a micromechanical retention by the electrochemical approach. The simplification of the process and reduction in the… (More)
