A 59-year-old male complained of a palpable abdominal mass which was revealed to be a primary omental tumor by means of abdominal ultrasonography, computed tomography, angiography and laparoscopy. Histological examinations of the surgically resected tumor further disclosed leiomyoblastoma with positive stainings of both vimentin and desmin, markers for mesenchymal cells and for muscle cells, respectively.
